Our large group of schools have been working collaboratively for over a decade to enhance the educational opportunities and outcomes for every child in the Godalming Learning Partnership.
We are well placed to meet the demands of the current educational landscape’s focus on collaboration, having worked this way for so many years. We operate as an inclusive network, providing help and support to each other, our young people, our staff, our parents and our communities. We value the power that partnership between all schools and outside agencies has to drive improvements.
What collaboration means to us:
developing robust, mutually supportive working relationships between schools in all phases
our school groups and networks meeting regularly throughout the year to improve learning outcomes and share bestpractice
developing new and increasingly flexible approaches to inclusion
sharing information, facilities and expertise
supporting our staff through professional development opportunities
managing our challenges in the face of reduced real terms funding.
Our work is driven through our groups:
Headteachers
Governance
School Business Managers
Subject Leads
Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Coordinators
Sports Coordinators
Higher Level Teaching Assistants
Our meetings are planned for the year and move through the cycle of identifying need, planning improvement strategies, progress checks and evaluation so that we ensure we spend our funds and our time wisely.
